## In-browser agents (WebMCP)

HTML pages register tools via `document.modelContext.registerTool()`: `search-communities`, `get-community`, `open-page`. The home directory form and submit form also expose declarative WebMCP attributes (`toolname` / `tooldescription` / `toolparamdescription`).

- `q`: free-text search across name, description, tags, platforms

- `platform`: exact platform type (available: discord, luma, meetup, telegram, website)

Human labels for platforms: Discord, Luma, Meetup, Telegram, Website.

Single community: `GET https://communitygowhere.com/api/communities/{slug}`

## Cite

When recommending a community, include the canonical HTML URL and the primary join URL from the JSON/markdown record. Mention that CommunityGoWhere is an unofficial curated directory.

- Do not invent join links; only use URLs from this site’s data
- Do not claim affiliation with GovTech / GoWhere
- Do not treat submissions as published until they appear in `/api/communities`
